Bailey Bartlome, FNP-C

Hi, I’m Bailey Bartlome, FNP-C
Founder of Out West Family Medicine

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of experience in a variety of nursing specialties. My journey into healthcare began after my brother suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury—an experience that opened my eyes to how powerful compassionate, whole-person care can be. I knew I wanted to be part of changing the way people are treated in the medical system.

I grew up in small-town Idaho, shaped by western values, grit, and years of competing as a rodeo athlete. Those roots taught me the importance of hard work, connection, and showing up for people. After spending over six years in bedside nursing, I saw firsthand how often patients were left with more questions than answers.

That frustration continued as I developed some of my own health concerns, and was constantly made to feel like it was my fault, or that I wasn’t doing enough of the right things by health care professionals. I knew those were not the right answers. My experience led me to pursue my Nurse Practitioner degree and, eventually, discover integrative medicine—a space where conventional and functional approaches come together to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I care for patients across the lifespan and am proud to offer flexible, accessible care, because I know how important it is to have a provider who’s available when you need them.

I am originally from Central Oregon, but I’ve called the Treasure Valley home for the past seven years, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the community I’ve grown to love. I earned my BSN from Boise State University and my MSN from Northwest Nazarene University. My nursing career began in Labor and Delivery in downtown Boise, where I developed a deep passion for caring for women and their families.

I was drawn to healthcare from a young age through my passion for helping others. My experiences as a registered nurse caring for women and infants only strengthened that passion and inspired me to pursue my Master’s degree. Today, I’m honored to continue providing compassionate, meaningful care to individuals and families throughout my community.

My goal with every patient is to ensure they feel heard, valued, and supported. I believe health is unique to each individual, and truly meaningful care begins with understanding the person beyond their diagnosis. By listening intentionally, providing thoughtful education, and partnering with patients in their healthcare decisions, I strive to build trust and foster collaborative relationships centered around each patient’s individual goals and well-being.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, weightlifting, and making memories with my two golden retrievers.

Michelle Heindel, MA

I’ve been passionate about patient care since 2009, when I began my career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In 2015, I expanded my clinical skills by becoming a Medical Assistant (MA), continuing my commitment to providing compassionate, quality care.

Throughout my career, healthcare has always been about one thing for me: making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I truly enjoy connecting with patients and creating an environment where they feel heard, valued, and cared for during every visit.

When I’m not at work, you can usually find me on the water! I love the adrenaline and excitement of sprint boat racing, which is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time.
